My family has been a foster family for about eight years now, so I decided to research more about the foster care system throughout my senior year. My goal this year was to look deeper into the foster care system and answer my big question: "Is foster care a reasonable solution for children who live in unsafe homes to go into?" I was also determined to convince people that they should become foster parents and help the children in their community. Within the past few months I have broadened my knowledge about the system and have come up with a conclusion as to whether or not foster care is the answer.
